Disapproval of Bush breaks record – USATODAY.com and, more in depth, the Gallup Poll website.
28% of Americans approve of the job Bush is doing?
Katrina? Iraq? Military stretched to the breaking point? Torture? Oil up $100 per Barrel? Economy in the tank? Our reputation in tatters?
What’s it going to take? I mean — What’s it going to take besides Jesus appearing in the clouds and flipping the bird to the Dude-In-Chief?
This shouldn’t be a partisan issue. The question wasn’t “Do you think he means well?” or “Do you like him?” — it was “Do you approve of his performance?”
There’s no nice way of saying it:
28% of Americans are so disengaged, dishonest, or moronic that they approve of the President’s performance. Dumb as a bag of hammers.
But at this point, it’s like “Groundhog Day” in America –
(November 2005)
(March 2006)
(May 2006)
(November 2007)
And now over to Phil Connors for the weather….
