Here is my “Modest Proposal” of the day:
If the Iraq war is just going to be a way to give money to political cronies regardless of success on the ground (or a valid reason for being there in the first place), would you guys mind if we just gave them the dough without having to keep up the charade?
I can think of at least 4,000 American families who might have been okay with that.
