U.S. evangelicals call for step back from politics
Granted, it’s only the “centrist evangelicals” that have signed this manifesto — but it’s refreshing to see anybody in the church publicly say “You know what? You stick to your domain of bullshit-ery and we’ll stick to ours.”
Who knows — maybe in another 200 years we can have an election where the candidates don’t sound like they’re running for Pastor-in-Chief in addition to everything else?
